NOMINEE DIRECTOR
In several countries, Directors, Secretary and Shareolders must be registered by the Secretary of State.
As shareholders are anonymous, the only person (US or any other) to be known by authorities will be the "Director".

In order to remain personally unknown, it is possible to appoint someone outside the corporation to this position.
He would be a "NOMINEE" (legal proceeding in the USA).
He is elected to serve as "the initial Director" until the first annual meeting of the Board of Directors or until his successor is elected and qualified. He can be removed at any time after a deliberation by the Board.
The Board of Directors is made up of the shareholders (most of the time, the only owner) and control is total.
Being a Director does not mean possession of shares of the company.
He gives a Power of Attorney to the real beneficiary, allowing him to run his
business freely and without being seen.
As the time of his appointment, the Nominee Director also signs his letter of resignation.
